This piece is inspired by a photograph of architectural photographer Julius Shulman sitting in front of a sign reading “Old Age & Treachery Will Overcome Youth & Skill.” While some of our older readers will certainly disagree, Mutchler thought this old Greek proverb could use a revision for 2010. The photograph of Shulman is below (click on image below for larger version).
