Rachel E. Foster, ‘Aether’, Silkscreen portfolio, 16.5” X 11”, 2013. It is a pure-white handmade portfolio with unbound pages. Each page features the definition of a word that exists in a foreign language that has no English equivalent. For example, “schadenfreude”, the German word that means to derive pleasure from the misfortune of others.
