Die, Los Videos. Die.
For many years, I have published Printeresting posts under the heading “Viva Los Videos!” In this critically-acclaimed series of essays, I have harvested thought-provoking video content from the most powerful communications medium ever known to mankind: YouTube.
Today, I regret to announce a new, sadder series: “Die, Los Videos. Die.” This series (which begins and ends with this post) is designed to chronicle the worst thing I have ever seen, this clip from the upcoming DreamWorks cartoon crapfest “The Croods.”
In this horrifying animated spectacle, a caveman (voiced by real-life caveman Nicolas Cage) proclaims with confidence that “painting is a thing of the past.” He then invents relief printmaking, in a scene of unspeakable violence unsuitable for children.
I will leave you with the profound analysis of YouTube commenter aniaszczur:

that IS terrible.
Katie: we are all agreed.
I don’t know, I find myself thinking about new ways of transferring an image to a plate.
Nicollas Cage is actually a rather good art collecter. In fact, he thinks Robert Williams is the best 21st century painter – ever.
