Hannah Skoonberg

Hannah Skoonberg makes beautiful relief prints inspired by the natural world. She sites childhood experiences camping in national parks as well as her Zen Buddhist practice as inspirations. The history of Chinese and Japanese painting and printmaking provide models for Skoonberg when exploring the relationship of nature and emptiness. She lives and works in Georgia so it’s no surprise that the Smokey Mountains are reoccurring throughout her work. Visit her site to see more.
