Printervention, which we mentioned back in October, kicks off with a reception tonight at the Chicago Tourism Center Gallery. Inspired in part by Works Progress Administration posters, this large group show features prints designed to “raise awareness of social and political issues of our day.” The impressive roster of artists includes Seripop, Dan Grzeca, Little Friends of Printmaking, SuperKonductor, members of JustSeeds, and many more.
Printervention is part of the Version 10 festival, and the organizers have planned public programs in April that include workshops with a mobile screenprinting cart.
