With a new academic year upon us, we’d like to share some PRINTERESTING news.
You may have noticed our new look! This summer we implemented a site upgrade that gives us more control over the design and function of the site. We hope this translates into a more user-friendly Printeresting.org, and we plan to add new features over the coming year.
As the site grows in readership and scope, we continue to expand our content. Keep an eye out for new features and new voices too; we plan more frequent contributions by guest authors. These friends of Printeresting will offer topical essays, guest coverage of the Impact conference in the UK, and more. We’ll also offer more coverage of special events, including onsite reporting from New York Print Week in November.
Print Week will also mark the first exhibition curated by PRINTERESTING, “One Every Day.” The show will present more than twenty artists working in print at EFA Project Space, the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. We look forward to meeting our Greater NY readers at the opening on November 7.
Beyond all that, we’re working on more curatorial projects, sorting out future conference participation, and polishing some lectures (drop us a line if you’d like to have one or more Printeresting contributors visit your institution).
